Volunteer Coordinator
Primary Role: Do you have a passion and drive to apply your personal engagement talents to make a difference? Do you like to coordinate groups of people with a variety of skills, from those who can run a table saw to Putnam County's finest cooks? Putnam County Habitat for Humanity (PCHFH) seeks a motivated, community-minded individual to heighten awareness and volunteer participation in the mission of PCHFH.
Overview: The PCHFH Volunteer Coordinator will themselves be a volunteer who helps to identify new volunteers, serves as a communication bridge between PCHFH staff and volunteers, and schedules volunteers for new home build workdays and critical home repair projects. The PCHFH Volunteer Coordinator:
- Schedules individuals and groups as needed for new home and CHR projects, as needed by the PCHFH CHR/Construction Manager
- Coordinates lunches for work crews during new home construction projects
